About
First Session – Intro to Stained Glass Start your stained glass journey here! This hands-on beginner class is the 🚨 first of two sessions🚨 that guide you through the stained glass process. In this class, you’ll learn how to safely cut and grind glass while working with a pre-selected pattern. We’ll cover: ✂️ Glass cutting techniques ⚙️ Grinding and shaping your pieces 🖐 Copper foiling glass by hand All tools and materials are included — just bring your curiosity and creativity! 🛎️ Be sure to book Session 2 separately to return and finish your piece with soldering and patina. We offer a wide selection of wines available for purchase by the bottle. Students enjoy 15% off during classes and workshops.

Policies
All classes and workshops are priced per person and cannot be shared between participants. You can cancel or reschedule a class or workshop through our website or email info@glassoflife.org at least 24 hours in advance to receive a 50% refund or 100% credit toward a future session. No-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled class are non-refundable, as spots are limited. Before booking, please verify you and anyone in your party are at least 12 years of age for stained glass classes and workshops. Attendees younger than this will only be allowed to observe and are not allowed to handle any of the stained glass tools or equipment.

Our studio is open for classes, open studio, and wine shop browsing during all studio hours.
Hours: Closed Sunday and Monday | Tuesday–Friday 2–8 PM | Saturday 11–4 PM

Yes, there's free street parking on 7th Ave N, 5th St N, and nearby residential streets. There are limited marked spaces in the back of the building. Be sure to park in spots marked Customer/Guests, not Residence, to avoid towing.
Please be respectful of driveways and posted signs — we’re in a beautiful neighborhood!

We’ve got all the materials and tools you need—just bring:
Closed-toe shoes
Reading glasses (if needed)
Your creativity!
Safety gear (goggles and masks) is provided.
Please do not bring in outside alcoholic beverages. Wine is available for purchase in our sommelier-curated wine shop inside the studio! A water cooler is provided free of charge.
